A boat dock is a big investment, and docks are subject to brutal conditions including fluctuating water levels, sun, wind, wake, and more. Regular maintenance on your dock can help to avoid costly repairs in the future and help your dock last as long as possible.
Texas Dock Masters Bi-Monthly Maintenance Plan Includes:
- Adjusting your dock in or out based on lake level
- Check and Service Boat Lift(s).
- Overhead Boat Lifts:
- Test Lift.
- Grease all fittings.
- Check belt, replace as needed.
- Check cables – advise homeowner if replacement is needed.
- Check structural integrity of lift.
- Inspect:
- All parts of anchoring system.
- Dock Structure.
- Decking.
- Walkway structure, handrails, and connections.
- Flotation.
- Customers will receive a bi-monthly service report showing all items inspected.
- If any issues are found during our inspection, these will be noted in the inspection report.
- Texas Dock Masters will advise customers of the cost of repairs.
- All repairs require signed authorization from the customer prior to repairs being completed.
- All maintenance plan customers will receive priority scheduling from Texas Dock Masters.
- Optional Service: Pressure washing your dock once (spring) or twice (spring and fall) per year.
